Short CV | Nikos Papanastasiou is a Lecturer in Modern and Media History at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Department of Communication & Media Studies). He studied Greek and European history at the University of Athens (Department of History and Archaeology) and holds a doctorate from the University of Augsburg/Germany (The Metaxas Dictatorship and Nazi Germany, 1936-1941, 2000). He is co-editor (with Stratos N. Dordanas) of The 'long' Greek-German 20th Century. The black Shadows in the History of Bilateral Relations (2018, in Greek) and has published numerous articles on WWII, Greek-German Relations in the 20th century (German Occupation of Greece and Collaboration), as well on Postwar and Public History. |
