The Students Cultural Association is the evolution of the Student Theatre Group, founded in 1923, when most of its members were student refugees. Later renamed to Department of Theatre, it continued its remarkable course, enjoying the cooperation of well known personalities of the theatrical field. Since 1976 it has expanded its activities in three additional fields: Dance, Film and Photography. Simultaneously, it has been once again renamed and is called until today the University of Athens Students Cultural Association.
