Community Mental Health Center

The center was founded in 1999, operates under the Department of Nursing and provides free psychosocial care to adults and elders.

The objectives of the center are:

  • Provision of information and sensitization on issues related to mental health, in order to prevent mental disorders.
  • Psychological or psychiatric support to people of all ages and families with psychosocial issues
  • Counseling to couples or children or parents
  • Immediate assistance to emergency psychiatric problems at home or at the Center for an early diagnosis and treatment
  • Provision of free medicines in special cases
  • Psychosocial rehabilitation to people with disabilities
