Full-time study at the Department of Communication & Media Studies is four years. According to the curriculum of the Department, the degree award requires: 

1. registration, attendance, and successful exam completion of all the required courses in the curriculum (total 34).
2. registration, attendance and successful exam completion in 11 of the elective courses of the curriculum.
3. registration, attendance and successful exam completion in 3 of the seminars offered in the curriculum.
4. Completion of at least 130 credits.
5. Completion of the total of 240 credits (ECTS)
6. the duration of studies cannot be less than 8 semesters, even if the conditions 1-4 are fulfilled. 

Students are required to register at the beginning of each semester for the courses intended to follow for that semester and to be examined at the end of the semester.
